Katrina Luisa Van Horne was an Olympic skiier and is a militant feminist. After engaging in an argument with anti-Women's Liberation skier Karl Lubbings, the two took their disagreement to the slopes. Katrina was an Olympic-level skier, but Lubbings cut her off and both skiers plunged off the mountain. Katrina was severely injured and disfigured. She was fitted with a powered exoskeleton, and took the name Man-Killer.
Catwoman's okay, but none of the four face the same superhero; we went for diversity. In retrospect, though, it probably would've been much easier just to do Batman villains.
And yes, the German idea is given much more weight than it probably deserves, but Tay's just hankering to prove that he knows more than somebody at something.

Ahh sweet. The penguin is the best.
There are way better super-villainnesses than that: Catwoman? Typhoid Mary? And the best of all:
MAN-KILLER:
